ANDREW'S STRUMMERS PERFORM AT 2016 NEW YEAR'S LEVEE

January 1st 2016 saw The Andrews Strummers perform at the first Levee at Andrews of Stratford. Andrews of PEI is owned by Ray and Carolyn Murphy and family, and they had their first levee ever today.Levees have become a big thing in recent years on New Years Day with 30 or more on the go today, beginning with the Lieutenant Governor's early in the morning. At Andrews we were blessed with great food from Terry's kitchen and the dining room was filled for two hours as friends and residents availed themselves of the great food prepared by Terry's staff. Mr Murphy was so elated with the response he has booked the Andrews Strummers for the next two years. The strummers were under the direction of Dennis Wells with able assistance from Sharon Woods-Bryanton. Joan Woods provided background music on her harp for the first hour, followed by the popular Andrews Strummers who seemed to have many waiting in anticipation. Hope they were not disappointed.
Our thanks to Karen Forbes, a volunteer at Andrews for being our photographer for the day.
