SMUG'S 6th ANNUAL CHRISTMAS PARTY AT RAZZY'S ROAD HOUSE

Saturday, December 21,2013, and SMUG invaded Razzy's Road House to sing Christmas Songs and Carols. We had 22 Smuggers out for the event, along with Errol and Harley as special guests. A later note from Everett indicated he and Carol were just getting ploughed out about when we were ready to order our lunch. Mostly it was steak around the table with the odd beer showing up rather than the traditional wine . The staff at Razzy's were wonderful, first bringing tea and coffee when we arrived at 10 a.m. It was a delightful morning, full of Christmas mood, and good to see so many turn out. Sonja brought along two guests to listen to the music, but we were sorry to have to say goodbye to Julien, as he and Soo Lee are heading back to Australia right after Christmas. It has been a real pleasure having Julien with us for the past few months. I'm surte Soo Lee would have become a Smugger soon if they were staying on PEI.

ANDREWS 2013 FAMILY CHRISTMAS PARTY IN PICTURES

Although we didn't get a photo of Santa Claus and his helper, we can guarantee he was there to hand out the treats and wish everyone a Merry Christmas. The Party began at 2 o'clock in the activity room where Betty Folland directed the Andrews Choir for an hour of Christmas delights that included solos by many of the choir as well as Betty's students. The activity room then vacated and moved to the dining room where Andrews Strummers took over with a short group of Christmas tid-bits and in the process welcomed St Nicholas with "Here Comes Santa Claus" The biggest event of the day then happened as Terry did his magic once again from the kitchen and everyone went home happy!

WINESING WRAPS UP CHRISTMAS NURSING HOME PERFORMANCES and WINESINGING FEASTS

Here is a cornucopia of photos of WineSing during the Christmas Season as they performed at various nursing homes, including the Meadow Unit at Beach Grove Home, and the new Prince Edward Home as well as the festivities at their weekly jam sessions. Today they entertained the Residents of Meadow when Santa arrived to pass out the annual treats. The Meadow unit was packed as the residents joined in singing along to the many Christmas Carols and popular tunes of the 20's 30's and 40's. Later we were all treated to lobster sandwiches and sweets......it was lovely! DOUBLE CLICKING ON THE PHOTOS WILL ENLARGE THEM
